One of the unique services offered by CGI is strong post-Charrette support in the adoption of the plan according to the specific State Statutes which usually provide the empowerment to the Town, City or County to Master Plan and adopt zoning/ subdivision regulations. We consider this one of our most important services as most small and medium sized communities require post-Charrette support to successfully adopt and execute the vision created by the community during the Charrette process.

The CGI team worked with the South Fork, CO Town Staff, Town Attorneys, Planning Commission and Town Board to successfully update the Master Plan, adopt the Regulating Plan and SmartCode (The first SmartCode adoption by a municipality in Colorado.)

The Code includes a Light Imprint Stormwater module, Alternative Energy module and a very innovative “developer incentives” module that rewards developers who dedicate civic space (identified in the Regulating Plan) to the Town.
